Cleverly Connected: Tanya Byron at TEDxCheltenham

Professor Tanya Byron is a consultant clinical psychologist specialising in child and adolescent mental health. She has an NHS career spanning twenty years and broadcasts on TV and radio (Little Angels; House of Tiny Tearaways; Am I Normal?; All in the Mind) as well as writing columns for The Times and Good Housekeeping.

She has authored three books on parenting and co writes comedy with Jennifer Saunders including The Life and Times of Vivienne Vyle(BBC2).

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
