Not the poor man's gold

Silver is not a "more volatile gold".

And that's because it has two different drivers:

1. The monetary driver
This is when silver trades like gold.
It responds to real yields, the dollar, inflation expectations, central bank credibility, and demand for hard assets.

2. The industrial driver
This is when silver trades more like copper.
It responds to solar demand, electrification, electronics, grid infrastructure, manufacturing activity, and the broader base metals cycle.

In this regime, silver is not being priced as “poor man’s gold.” It is being priced as industrial metal exposure.

Understand when this flips, and you understand how to trade silver.
