💶 Money: Why you need lots of it and shouldn't feel ashamed when you want MORE!

My entire life I’ve heard and seen so many conflicting things about money. We all have. How many movies do you know that show wealthy people from a positive perspective? Most series portray them as evil, trying to mess with the plans of the hero who is often a commoner. It plays to an instinct we have, to envy the people who have more than us.

Receiving more money making sure it is managed properly. These things can be learned. When you have a good relationship with money you make better decisions. To get to this point you have to first admit to certain truths. To admit that money creates happiness.

Admitting that is one of the most important steps into becoming a better version of yourself.

Like with everything in life, a lot of our views are very unoriginal duplicates of stories we were fed as we grew up. What’s your family’s view on money? Those are probably the views you have on money now. What were your childhood memories around money? Did your parents argue about who should pay the bill? Did you always feel like there wasn’t enough? Did you feel like you didn’t belong with the cool kids because they had nicer clothes than you did? Was it always cold at home because heating or renovating the home was too expensive? Or perhaps you grew up in a wealthy family where there was always plenty of money, but your parents were working all the time. Maybe you grew up and had to work hard for your parent’s business and hardly got paid.

Those are all just stories we made up. Every single person has a story around money. These stories can work against you when you're trying to get wealthy. So, find out what they are and make new stories.
