Shenandoah Valley Railroad and Virginia Scenic Railway | Staunton VA 8/4/2022
On a hot summer day in western Virginia, B&O Heritage Unit DGVR 6512 pulls a short load of hoppers out of Staunton in route to the industrial park in Weyers Cave. By complete happenstance, this was also the day the Virginia Scenic Railway made its inaugural runs. I was able to catch a short glimpse of the train, but had other matters to tend to on this day.
