There are no effects on any of the tracks so that the sound of the microphone can be clearly heard.

My thoughts: What I like about this mic is the price, clarity, ease of use (no pop-screen or shock mount needed). Had this mic been on the market when I first got started, I think this is what I would have bought and used and loved. But now that I've tried quite a few mics I am starting to find my own recording style, and this isn't my first choice for my own vocals. In the Aston range, the "Spirit" model is more up my alley. But I am glad to have this in my arsenal and have been using it regularly on recording instruments.
