Delta Printer Homing Issue

My Delta 3D printer build, based on the prototype designed and built by Joshua Pearce, Bas Wijnen, et al at Michigan Tech. The Melzi Ardentissimo board was successfully flashed with Delta MOST firmware, with the configuration.h code adjusted and checked repeatedly. The printer interfaces with RepetierHost software, and will move manually in increments, but any attempts to make it home will cause the effector to either hit the endstops and keep going, or else travel in the other direction and crash the sides. M119 shows all three endstops work properly.
