Thanks to each and every one of you who have watched my previous PS1 Retroarch tutorial! Thanks to all of you it has become the best performing video in the history of my channel up to this point! Due to the ever-changing nature of emulation, there are usually bound to be updates to the program! Thanks to the popularity of the previous PS1 tutorial and that we are now moved into a new place it felt like a good time to revisit PS1 Emulation on Retroarch!

This revised tutorial is covering the updated version of Retroarch as well as the latest version of the Beetle PSX HW core. I will also once again show you how to convert your PS1 games over to the eboot format to help with simplicity on multidisk games and save you space on your hard drives. I also go over all the core settings and show my favorite shaders to use on PS1 emulation. PS1 also has numerous controller options so we take a look at each of those as well!

The newest addition to this updated emulation tutorial is some basic troubleshooting. If you have a bad ps1 bios file, bad disk image, controller problems or issues with Retroarch settings here are a couple of easy tips! The last thing covered in the new PS1 tutorial is how to make a PS1 Retroarch playlist to easily play your games right from the main menu of Retroarch.
