Gautam Rode (born 14 August 1977) is an Indian television actor known for portraying the roles in Saraswatichandra and Suryaputra Karn; and Veer Singh in Kaal Bhairav Rahasya Season 2.Gautam Rode was born on 14 August 1977. Earlier, Rode and his family used to stay in New Delhi, but later they shifted to Mumbai. Rode had to face many financial crises in Mumbai. Rode's father, Surendra Rode is a retired broker[1] and his mother, Sangeeta Rode is a jewellery designer.[2] Rode has an elder sister, Rashmi.[3] Rode did his schooling from Army Public School, Dhaula Kuan in Delhi.[4] He completed his college from Shaheed Bhagat Singh College.Rode made his debut to Indian television with the show Jahan Pyaar Mile on Zee TV.[6] In 2000, he played episodic roles in TV shows such as Rishtey, Apna Apna Style and Thriller at 10. In 2002, he made his debut to Bollywood with the film Annarth co-starred Sanjay Dutt, Sunil Shetty and Preeti Jhangiani.[6] He played the role of Inspector Sameer Deshmukh in this film. Taran Adarsh of entertainment portal of Bollywood Hungama wrote of his performance, "Newcomer Gautam Rode has good screen presence and impresses as an actor. He does very well in stunts."[7] Annarth grossed ₹23.4 crore (US$3.3 million) domestically.[8]

In 2005, he appeared in his second film, U, Bomsi & Me alongside Sonal Sehgal and Vivek Madan. He played the role of Sam Mac Patel a radio jockey who wants to be a writer and a famous one at that. Taran Adarsh wrote of his performance, " Gautam, who made his debut in ANNARTH [with Sanju, Suniel], has evolved as an actor. He is excellent in [emotional] sequences when his wife walks out on him."[9] In 2005, he played his first noticeable role of television of Anish Kotak in Baa Bahu Aur Baby.Pankhuri Awasthy (born 31 March 1991) is an Indian television and film actress known for playing Razia in Razia Sultan, Vedika in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Draupadi in Suryaputra Karn.Awasthy was born on 31 March 1991 in Lucknow.[1][2] She grew up in Delhi but moved to Bangalore for a job in marketing. In 2014, she ultimately moved to Mumbai to pursue a career in acting.Pankhuri Awasthy played the role of Seher in MTV Fanaah Season 2. After that, she played the role of Razia Sultan in &TV’s historical drama Razia Sultan. She also played Draupadi in the mythological drama Suryaputra Karn. In 2017, she played the lead role of Amla in Star Plus’s show Kya Qusoor Hai Amala Ka?, which is an Indian adaptation of famous Turkish show Fatmagül'ün Suçu Ne?.

In 2019, she played an episodic role in the Colors TV's show Kaun Hai? as Pauloma / Anvesha and also appeared in the & TV's show Laal Ishq. From June 2019 to January 2020 she played the role of Vedika Agarwal in Star Plus's drama Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai[4][5][6] Despite these, the drama remained in top 5 shows during this track.[6]

Awasthy made her debut in Hindi cinema with Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, which was released on 21 February 2020.In October 2017, Awasthy and Gautam Rode were engaged.[8] In February 2018, they both got married in Alwar.
