Cape Jervis, Episode 2 - Slow Pitch Jigging

In this Episode we head wide in search of Nannygai (Bight Redfish) out from Cape Jervis in the Backstairs Passage. Many new species encountered for us and a bucket list capture for myself all caught slow pitch jigging. We encountered a lot of snapper on this trip which is great to see for the S.A fishery. We were not intentionally targeting them and all snapper were released as per the PIRSA rules. As soon as we caught one we moved spots and did everything we could to avoid them. We managed to find some patches of reef and rubble that were snapper free and had a ball slow pitch jigging up all sorts of reef dwellers.
