Federal budget fails to resonate with voters

The Labor Party’s federal budget has failed to resonate among voters as the latest Newspoll reveals 39 per cent of Australians thought it would make inflation worse.

The Australian's latest Newspoll figures show despite the billions of dollars committed to the cost of living relief, 29 per cent of voters thought they would be worse off under the budget, compared to 27 per cent who thought they would be better.

The Daily Telegraph's James Willis joined Sky News host Sharri Markson to discuss the latest figures revealed by Newspoll.
