Woodturning a Firewood Vase

'I must down to the seas again, to the lonely sea and the sky,' (Sea Fever by John Masefield)
This piece of driftwood had survived someone's bonfire and floated around the ocean to the beach. It had fantastic markings left by the work of the flames and the sea. If I could somehow respect nature's work, I thought it might make an interesting vase. Once finished with olive oil and beeswax, I took it back to the call of the sea. I hope you enjoy the film and like the result.
