Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib, located in the heart of Chandni Chowk, Delhi, stands as a powerful symbol of sacrifice, faith, and resilience. This sacred site marks the place where Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, the ninth Sikh Guru, was martyred on November 11, 1675, by the order of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb. Guru Sahib stood fearlessly to defend religious freedom, protecting the rights of Hindus and other oppressed communities, earning him the revered title of "Hind Ki Chadar" (Shield of India).

Alongside Guru Sahib, three of his devoted Sikhs—Bhai Mati Das Ji, Bhai Sati Das Ji, and Bhai Dayal Das Ji—also sacrificed their lives:

⚔️ Bhai Mati Das Ji – Sawed in half for his faith.
🔥 Bhai Sati Das Ji – Burned alive wrapped in cotton.
💧 Bhai Dayal Das Ji – Boiled to death in a cauldron of hot water.

Their unwavering faith and fearlessness in the face of oppression embody the true spirit of Sikhism.

Today, Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib remains a beacon of spiritual strength, drawing thousands of devotees who come to seek blessings, listen to soulful Gurbani Kirtan, and engage in Seva (selfless service) at the Guru’s Langar. Their legacy continues to inspire generations to uphold the values of justice, equality, and freedom.
