The origin is a Chinese song named 情人的關懷 (Lover's Care), performed by 鄧麗君 (Teresa Teng - Đặng Lệ Quân) then transcrired for guitar by Francis Goya. This song was originally made famous in Asia by the talented, multi-linguistic, Chinese pop singer from Taiwan, Teresa Teng (1953-1995). This tear-jerking song traveled to Japan in 1974 and became Teresa's first hit in Japan, titled 空港 (Airport), and she received the Best Newcomer Award later that year. This song also known as Xin thời gian ngừng trôi (performed by Ngọc Lan) and Cánh chim lạc loài (performed by Cẩm Ly) in Vietnamese
