In this video we show you how to make an enfleurage.
It is an ancestral technique used to extract perfume of delicate flowers in a natural way.
The flower used is Rosa rugosa, which is one of the most aromatic varieties.
To prepare a simplified enfleurage (scented oil) proceed as follows:
- Coat a glass plate with odourless coconut oil.
- Put the flowers (petals in this case) over the entire surface.
- Cover the plate with a second glass plate.
- Wrap the plates with one or more towels so that the smell does not spread.
- Remove the flowers with tweezers after 24 hours
- Repeat this operation as many times as you want.
- The more times you do it the more aromatic your oil will be.
