Cu Cai's Rescue Story

At only 4 months old, Cu Cai has been through so much already. Dumped in the streets with a nasty gut inflammation, he was diagnosed with FPV earlier this month. This brave little kitten has miraculously survived, only to recently contract FIP.
Feline infectious peritonitis (FIP) is a fatal viral disease caused by an infection with feline coronavirus (FCoV). Occasionally feline coronavirus will mutate inside of a cat and if their immune system reacts in a certain way, it can lead to FIP. Most cats with feline coronavirus do not develop this condition, but they can still pass on feline coronavirus to other cats.
FIP was previously fatal for most cats. However, in the last years, a new treatment has proved effective. This treatment is long and very expensive but results are encouraging. Last year, 3 Paws for Compassion cats were treated and are now healthy.
To add to his misfortune, Cu Cai seems to have developed the neurological form and we had to act quickly! After a few difficult days, this little kitten continues to surprise us and is responding well to the injections.💪
We need your help to continue to provide Cu Cai with this life-saving treatment, so that he can finally have the happy life he deserves.😽
Please mention his name in the reference, thank you in advance!🥰
