'The Tale' Q&A | Jennifer Fox

Director Jennifer Fox discusses The Tale at a sneak preview screening, sponsored by HBO, at the Film Society of Lincoln Center. Moderated by Alison Willmore.

The film stars Laura Dern as Fox herself, and it is based on Fox’s own life story of reckoning with trauma after her mother unearthed a childhood short story recounting her first sexual relationship.
