Rockhounding Tips Tricks and Secrets - Agate Treasure Day

Once again we bring you advanced rockhounding tips, tricks and secrets
and show you exactly how to find and ID agates and cool rocks. This day and video we're a big score for us and we show you how to make it agate treasure day. Not everyday works out that way but we bring you lots of great tips to find and ID rocks Urban rockhounding style, right there in your own home town, without going to the beach or river.

Tips:
1. Always ask for permission first,!
2. It doesn't hurt to ask! but not all landscaping or aggregate companies will allow rockhounding and give you permission to look over and buy their rocks & agates, in the way described in this video.
3. Most companies will charge you to pick and choose through their rocks.
We make no claim that they won't. We also make no claim on the amount
they will or will not charge you, that is based solely on each company's policy.
Think about this, how much would you spend for a trip to the beach or river? Gas, time,
food, hassle. We're not saying don't go to the forest, river or beach but for a quick little
adventure, give this a try!
4. We suggest that you build a relationship with the businesses you plan to
ask and let them know you will not get in the way of their business transactions
or their employees doing their work.
5. Some businesses will ask you to sign a waiver to protect their business from
liability in case your are injured on their property.
6. Results will vary from day to day, time of year and from one business
to another business on the quality and quantity of the cool rocks and agates you find.
7. Obviously spring and summer are the most active times when people are doing
landscaping projects and so landscaping businesses will have more variety
and thus a bigger turnover in their rock supply and this will always influence your results.
