YouTubers Are Not Good Friends Coffee & Conversation #13

In this video, we discuss the world of YouTubers being guarded and very hard to understand sometimes. YouTubers don't make good friends because of people trying to use the "clout". Bigger YouTubers will generally be more wary of being friends with smaller creators because people typically want to use them. Before I understood this dynamic, I was also part of the problem because I used to contact bigger channels just to "collab" rather than get to know these creators as people. I've changed because I realized this was a problem and came across as extremely disingenuous. Also, this excludes all my online artsy crafty friends who are just amazing people and we've gotten to know each other really well.
