WATCH: Texas police clash with hundreds of anti-Israel protesters
Over a hundred anti-Israel protesters have clashed with police, with more than 20 arrested at the University of Texas.
Anti-Israel protesters gathered at the university (UT-Austin) on Wednesday to protest against Israel and the ongoing war in Gaza.
The protesters seen at the University of Texas, located in Austin, were heard shouting anti-Israel chants on the school's South Lawn.
The Austin Police Department (APD) and Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) dispersed the crowds while making arrests.
As the APD and DPS attempted to squash the protest, they were met with “APD, KKK, IDF, they're all the same” and “pigs go home” chants.
