EKWB Strix 3090 Water Block - Coil Whine and Toasty Memory

I ran into two things about the EKBW Vector Strix water block for the RTX 3090 that are minor issues, but resolving them would make the experience even better!

The water block has caused a lot of coil whine and the memory junction temperatures haven't improved much over the stock air cooler. The memory junction temperatures are still hitting 86C and I know we can do better than that!

I will install some Thermal Grizzly Minus 8 pads rated at 8W/mK vs the stock EKWB pads that are only rated at a modest 4W/mK. That should give us better thermal performance for higher and more stable overclocks for the overclocking video I am working up to!

EKWB has stated that the coil whine is related to fitment issues with the water-block that can be somewhat improved by swapping out screws and installing thicker thermal pads. Does changing the screws and thermal pads really help reduce the coil whine?

For this video we drain the system, remove the backplate from the GPU and swap out the backplate screws and video memory thermal pads for better performance!
