Go Wild With Camp TV: Fun Animal Facts and Science Experiments for Kids

This virtual workshop for families (recorded on July 28, 2022) celebrates the new season of Camp TV, the public television series for kids ages 5-10. Watch this video to learn fun facts about wild animals, play the “Will it float?” game, see an amazing experiment with pepper & soap, and meet Camp TV’s co-counselor Mia! This 21-minute video features Camp TV partner organizations San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance and Liberty Science Center.

To get ready, gather the following: a clear container, filled part way with water; a paper clip, a small piece of aluminum foil, and other small objects that can fit in the container (for example, a plastic spoon and a metal spoon, a pen, small toy, etc.). These materials are used in the video during the “Will it Float?” game.
