Oh No.... Broken down in the Focus MK2 ST

So coming down the motorway lost all power, steering malfunction and the car completely shut down.

Managed to roll up the slip road with no safe place to stop! Squeezed to the side with car coming round the bend at 70mph! Very scary....

Before I left the battery light came on and stayed on! I new something was wrong but didn't know what...

Well I have learnt that if the battery light comes on and stays on then this means your alternator has given up! Worth checking the battery first but more than likely the alternator....
