KSP : trampolining off kerbin

wow 2 videos in one day, look at me go.

ok no I made the april fool video on march 27th and uploaded it april 1st but who cares anyways?

the way I did this is I used cheats and mainsail to fire directly at kerbin after going to the SOI limit. meaning this is effectively the highest velocity impact with kerbin you can get while staying in the SOI. seems impressive but hazard-ish managed to get 22km/s by going to the limit of kerbol's SOI and then using jool assists to get a reverse orbit brute force enounter with kerbin, which makes me wonder if I can just get my velocity to 0 around kerbol and then brute force it into a straight trajectory into kerbin.
