Plein Air Study - Fall in Maine

Join me for a quick plein air color study of fall in Maine. I used a limited palette in this oil painting. The colors I used were: Titanium White, Ultramarine Blue, Transparent Red Oxide, Yellow Ochre,Napthol Red, and Hansa Yellow Light. I also experimented with using an Ampersand panel from their value series. In the end, I didn't care for the surface and won't use it again. It's still good to experiment with different products, though. You never know when you'll find another favorite brush or color.
