Hey guys! Weclome to what I consider my proudest achievement and my favourite series I've ever made, yes I include USS Enterprise in that. The history of the 83rd Infantry Division has been an obsession of mine for years ever since I read Cornelius Ryan's book "The Last Battle" and heard the famous story of "The Rag Tag Circus". Where an American infantry division beat every other Allied unit to Berlin INCLUDING THE SOVIETS by stealing every single vehicle and weapon system not nailed down, they were the E-4 Mafia personified and writ large. The only reason they didn't take the German capital was because they were ordered to stop after crossing the last river in their way.

This is a Two Part series, however you don't need to have seen Part One to watch Part Two, though you are missing out on some fantastic stories if you do.

I would like to personally thank the 83rd Infantry Division Association and their official historian who manages the archive from which I sourced the documents to write, edit and produce this project, without their recommendations on books I'd have been stuck.

I'd also like to thank the families of Lt Col. Granville Attaway Sharpe and Lt. Samuel W Magill Senior for providing me with various photos and documents without which this video would not be possible.

And finally I would like to acknowledge the service and sacrifice of the Veterans themselves, many of whom gave all of their tomorrows for our today.

So forget about all the troubles of modern times, take a break from watching K-Pop Demonhunters or doom scrolling about AI. And join me in a riveting story about some true American heroes.
