Van Life in France Begins | A Sweet Dream or A Beautiful Nightmare?

Van life can be a sweet dream or a beautiful nightmare. This week we are faced with one of our worst nightmares. We were so excited to finally share a video of us living our dream life and it bums us out that this is what happened in our first week. But, we want to record and show you guys the truth of our adventure, as much as possible, and this is our story this week.

There is so much to love about van life, especially when you are travelling. So far, we are really enjoying our stay in France, and we have only seen a fraction of what this beautiful country has to offer.

We spent our first couple of nights on a beach near Wimereux, relaxing and cherishing every moment. We then headed further south and after an entire day of driving (no exaggeration) to avoid toll roads, we arrived at the coastal city, La Rochelle.

This is when our story took an unexpected turn.

All in all, we have done our best to rectify the problem temporarily. But a longer-term fix is probably going to be necessary.
