'Softening' pancreatic cancer to improve chemotherapy response

Dr David Herrmann is a Senior Research Officer focusing on cancer in Garvan’s Invasion and Metastasis laboratory. He completed his PhD in Germany, joining Garvan in 2013. His work focuses on observing and understanding the behaviour of tumours in the body to pinpoint critical events that drive the spread of cancer. This information is then used to optimise therapies that target cancer spread and have the potential to extend cancer survivorship.
