Full Galata Bridge Walk – Eminönü to Karaköy | Istanbul 2026

Hey everyone! Today we’re crossing one of Istanbul’s most iconic landmarks — the Galata Bridge, from Eminönü to Karaköy.We start on the lower level, right by the water. This is where all the famous fish restaurants are located. The view here is absolutely beautiful, especially in the evening with the lights reflecting on the Golden Horn… but I have to be honest with you: I don’t recommend eating here. Most of these restaurants have become real tourist traps. The quality is mediocre and the prices are ridiculously high for what you get.Then we go up to the middle of the bridge and walk on the upper level, along the road. This part is completely different! You’ll see rows of fishermen casting their lines, hundreds of tourists walking around, and incredible panoramic views — the Süleymaniye Mosque on one side and the Galata Tower on the other.It’s very crowded, but that’s normal. The Galata Bridge is one of the most loved and photographed spots in all of Istanbul.Come with me, let’s cross it together!
