I will tell you how it feels like to ride a Quick 4, and I’ll show you everything that Inokim forgot to mention in the introduction videos and specifications which you will find on Inokim’s website. This will include how the quick 4 goes up the hill, its top speed, and how you can unblock it. Yes, you heard it right I will show you how to unblock your Quick 4 from 25 km/h to 40 km/h speed.
How much will cost? When does it arrive? And most importantly I will show you the weak points of the scooter I’ve seen so far, as they might cause you some trouble in the future and you better know about them before you buy.

So let’s begin.

Quick 4 is an electric scooter that electric scooter riders have been waiting for. It has it all. Easy folding mechanism. Lightweight compared to all the features it has. Only 20 kilograms.
Wide deck so you can finally put both legs next to each other. I have to tell you, it feels awesome.
10 inch wide wheels give you an extremely stable feeling. It’s super easy to ride. Quick 4 has air tires. They feel good but can get flat. If you get a flat tire use slime then get your scooter to the after-sale service center for change.

You don’t need to kick your scooter to start riding, as I still do on my Xiaomi. Just press the speed button and start riding and the holding the grips feel amazing.

There is suspension for both wheels. And let’s stop here for a second. First of all, I find the look unbelievably attractive. Robust. And, yes, they definitely do the job. But, while I was riding in Budapest on, let’s be honest, not the smoothest roads in the world. I could imagine these suspensions make my ride even smoother. I wasn’t 100% satisfied with them. And, yet, I’ve never felt any other scooter’s suspension being so smooth. What can I say?! There is nothing better on the market at the moment, I know that. But I hope the future brings us an even smoother ride.

Brakes are insane. Both on the left and right side. You push them a bit too hard and you see yourself flying out of your scooter. They are super sensitive. Which is really good and also be careful with them. Quick 4 uses drum brakes on both front and back wheels. Inokim tested a few other options in the past. These are the most reliable ones. The mechanic told me nothing should go wrong with this part of the scooter.

The huge display is in the middle and the best part is the horn. I am in love with that horn.
The display shows you the mode you are using. There are 3 modes. Eco, Sport, and Turbo. It shows how long you are riding. Km/h, your current speed. How many kilometers you went during your current trip and, finally, the percentage of the battery. Battery life. One thing I found not so appearing is that I couldn’t really see what is written on the display in the sun.

And let’s talk about the range now. It is extremely important nowadays that the scooter can go at least 30 kilometers. But this one can go even 70 kilometers. I wasn’t sure when Inokim launched the Quick 4 if there are 2 scooters Hero and Super, or there is 1 scooter with 2 different batteries. Turned out there is only 1 scooter which you can order with 2 different batteries. The Hero can go up to 58 km range. And the Super can go up to 70 kilometers. Inokim uses a brand new Samsung battery here to reach this range. And because it’s a new type of battery, it might have issues, in my opinion.
The Hero costs approximately €1380 and the Super version costs €1580. Approximately €200 difference.
You can reserve the scooters already at your country’s dealer and the first scooters will arrive by the end of October 2020.

The top speed of the scooter is 25 km/h. Which is becoming a standard now around the world and it is required by law in countries like Germany. However, in many other countries, like Hungary where we don’t have any rules for electric scooters at all, you can go way faster. The fastest speed Quick 4 can reach is 40 km/h. Let me show you how to unblock your scooter and change the speed anytime depending on your country's laws. Double press the plus and minus buttons for a few seconds. You will see a new menu on the screen. Press the off/on button to change between menus. When you see the km/h menu use the plus and minus buttons again to adjust your speed. Once you finished click the off/on button for a few seconds to lock it.
There is no extra app. So, everything you want to do or see about your scooter is shown on the display.
