Feeding and petting wild Mandarin ducks

I remember it was around autumn when i first saw this pair of mandarin ducks at the lake in my hometown in Zurich. They really seemed out of place because i know they werent local. As usual i started to feed some of the birds at the lake and this pair decided to join in. But that wasnt the time i recorded the Video. I took some Months until we became "friends" and they were comfortable enough to join me on the riverbench. It realy felt unreal because first i never saw mandarin ducks in real life and second they jumped on the bench to get some food. This went for a couple of month. One day i went to the lake as usual to feed some birds but i couldnt find them anywhere. a deep sadness hit me because i kinda knew they went away. i didt saw them ever since. I hope they are still alive and well.
