Exploring London - Day1 of 6days UK Tour [19-June-2023]

19-June-2023:
Our 6days UK tour with family begun on 19June2023, and we returned home on 24June2023.
On Day1, we flew from Dublin to Luton Airport which was a one hour flight.
From Luton we got into Thames Link train towards King Cross Station.
We had our breakfast in King Cross & took another train to Green Park station, which took us to the Buckingham Palace.

Located in the City of Westminster, Buckingham Palace is a royal residence in London and the administrative headquarters of the monarch of the United Kingdom.

Then, we started walking from Buckingham Palace to the Big Ben, which took us about 25-30mins. Enroute we explored some peculiar shaped architectures & the classic London Phone Booth standing in contrast with the Westminster Abbey :).

Big Ben is the nickname for the Great Bell of the Great Clock of Westminster, at the north end of the Palace of Westminster.

From Big Ben we walked towards the starting point for the Thames River Cruise which was 10-15mins. At the Thames River Cruise, the guide talked about the most important landmarks of London all of which could be seen from the Cruise that was cruising in the Thames river.
At the starting point, we could see the gigantic Westminster Palace which serves as the meeting place for both the House of Commons and the House of Lords, the two houses of the Parliament of the UK.
From the cruise we saw the St Paul's cathedral which serves as the mother church of the Diocese of London & is on Ludgate Hill at the highest point of the City of London. Then, we saw HMS Belfast which is a Town-class light cruiser that was built for the Royal Navy. Crusing forward we passed under the London Bridge & the Tower Bridge over river Thames.
