More Instruments in Garageband! I recently had a student who was bored of the Garageband synths if they should upgrade to Ableton Live or Logic Pro X to get more instruments.

There is no need to spend money to get some more sounds, there are plenty of free 3rd party software instruments that you can download and install on your Mac. As long as the instrument supports Audio Units you can use it in garageband.
