We recently visited our friends' 240 acre family homestead to see if it's really the kind of life we want to pursue. There are 3 generations now living on this property bought by the grandfather in the 1990s. Currently, Lynn's friend who is also a USMC veteran, is building his family's log cabin. We helped out, hiked the property, traded eggs for goat milk, saw a moose, and decided once and for all: THIS LIFE IS FOR US!
