It’s official, the production of Stranger Things season three is finally underway.

Okay, so can everyone just please hurry up and film everything because we need season 3 STAT.

As every Stranger Things fan knows, every little detail surrounding the ever so popular Netflix show is kept tightly under wraps. In fact, no one really knew that Stranger Things officially started production on their third season on April 20th until TODAY.
Netflix released a behind-the-scenes video commemorating the exciting news and revealed that our old faves like Millie Bobby Brown, Caleb McLaughlin, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Winona Ryder and David Harbour as well as some newbies like Maya Hawke, Jake Busey, and Cary Elwes got together for a table read last Friday.

As of now, fans only know a teeny tiny bit about Maya, Jake, and Cary’s characters. Cary is set to play your classic 80s politician Mayor Kline, the mayor of Hawkins, Jake is taking on the role of Bruce, a journalist with questionable morals and Maya will be playing Robin, a girl in search of more excitement in her life – which, to be fair, won’t be hard to find in Hawkins.
But cast reunions and table reads aside, we just HAVE to mention Praiah Ferguson’s role in this video since she was basically the only one with a speaking part and it was pretty great.

Obviously the black and white video was put together to hype us all up for the new season and it totally did its job. Stranger Things has yet to announce a premiere date for their third season, but something tells us we’ll know soon enough.
