DEBBIE ALLEN Sweet Charity B'way '86

From the first Broadway revival of "Sweet Charity," for which Bob Fosse recreated the show's original '66 staging. It won the Tony for Best Revival, and starred Debbie Allen, along with Allison Williams and Tony winners Bebe Neuwirth and Michael Rupert. "Charity" has had two New York revivals since, one on and one off Broadway, but the '86 revival was the last time the original Fosse production was seen in NY.
