We Took A Gamble on a CHEAP Corvette (and Lost!)

Sometimes classic car deals are too good to be true. This cheap Corvette needed some work, but we hoped it would be a simple project that we could fix and flip for a few bucks. I don't think the guy was trying to pull a "classic car scam" on us, but it's still unfortunate that we bought the car and later found out that the engine was locked up (instead of simply a dead battery or bad starter). But that's the gamble you take when you buy, sell and trade around on old cars. Take a look at this 1981 Corvette, and always beware of this type of stuff when buying an older car, truck or motorcycle. You never know what you'll get into.
