West Edmonton drug bust yields cocaine and MDMA
The seizure of more than 27 kg of cocaine after the search of a west Edmonton home is the largest haul of the drug by the local branch of the Alberta Law Enforcement Response Team (ALERT).
The cocaine, along with roughly 5 kg of MDMA, was seized, leading investigators to suggest the drugs value on the street is in the $3 million range, ALERT said in a Monday news release.
