Oracle APEX Master Detail: Side by Side AJAX Refresh

In this video, we’ll walk through a simple side by side master detail setup in Oracle APEX that uses a single JavaScript file and a PL/SQL AJAX callback to sync regions without a full page reload. You’ll see how clicking a customer in the master list sends its ID via apex.server.process, sets a hidden page item in session state, and instantly refreshes both the detail and header regions—all with just a few lines of code.
