Grčka je i zvanično izabrala izraelski raketni artiljerijski sistem PULS, nakon što je kompanija Elbit Systems objavila da je obezbedila ugovor vredan približno 750 miliona dolara za njegovu isporuku.
Time se Grčka pridružila državama koje su se opredelile za izraelski sistem dugog dometa, a za publiku na Balkanu ova vest ima dodatnu težinu i zbog toga što je Srbija još 2024. godine kupila PULS, čime je među prvima u regionu otvorila prostor za uvođenje ovog sistema u širu vojnu upotrebu.
Prema objavljenim podacima, ugovor traje četiri godine i uključuje održavanje i usluge podrške nakon isporuke u dodatnom periodu od deset godina.
Ugovor obuhvata isporuku desetina lansera PULS, zajedno sa širokim paketom municije. U taj paket ulaze rakete za obuku, operativne precizno vođene rakete različitog dometa, kao i municija za lansiranje.
Greece has officially chosen Israel's PULS rocket artillery system, after Elbit Systems announced that it had secured a contract worth approximately $750 million for its delivery.
With this, Greece joined the countries that opted for the Israeli long-range system, and for the audience in the Balkans, this news has additional weight due to the fact that Serbia bought the PULS in 2024, which opened the way for the introduction of this system into wider military use, among the first in the region.
According to the published data, the contract lasts for four years and includes maintenance and support services after delivery for an additional period of ten years.
The contract includes the delivery of dozens of PULS launchers, along with a wide range of ammunition. That package includes training missiles, operational precision-guided missiles of different ranges, as well as launch ammunition.
