Artemiev played opening in his own style: quite slow and not reaching conflict that easily. by playing 6. c5 Guseinov could expect 7.d5 and play standard double fiachetto position. Artemiev decided to take and exchange queens. Engine shows that Black is fine, but in practical play white will have long term initiative. Another issue that Gadir is sharp attacking player and endgame is not his favorite part of the game.
