How To Catch & Cook Redfish THROATS (Kayak Fishing) | Field Trips with Robert Field

In this episode we're at San Luis Pass, Texas sharing some tips for finding more redfish in both skinny marshes and main channels, and scratching out a few limits along the way. Then I head back to the RV park with Rex Del Rey and Max Moore to show you how to clean and cook up redfish throats, a delicious piece of meat that routinely gets fed to the crabs or tossed in the trash. Appropriately nicknamed "saltwater quail," it's quickly becoming my favorite part of the fish.
