OccupyLV - #F29 March on NVEnergy

At 2:00 PM on F29, we gathered at a gravel lot on the corner of Sahara & Decatur, and began our preparations. Music, mood and makeup were applied liberally. At 3:00 we began the march westward down Sahara, bearing a "special delivery" covered with special messages for NVEnergy and CEO Michael Yackira. Leading our march were the flagbearers from the Moapa Band of Paiutes. By 3:45 we reached the offices of the energy monopoly and attempted to make our delivery directly. We were impeded by police and NVE security. The group spread out and began the task of educating the public and NVE employees. Just before 5:00 the Art Rebels affinity group made the delivery via alternative means, taking the casket through a secondary parking area, where they managed to slide it to a point about 3 feet from the front doors. Minutes later, Occupiers watched as some NVE employees came out, looked at the casket for a while, and then carried it inside. Message delivered.
