Getting Started with VueStorefront - Setting up your development environment.

Since Vue Storefront / Odoo development requires using other server than the one you are used to, it's important to have a stable way of managing your development environment, that's why we recommend using docker compose (https://github.com/odoogap/vuestorefront-docker). In case you are a frontend developer and you work with Nuxt.js then you just need to run docker compose up and then you stop Vue Storefront container and run it from your local machine. The same applies if you are an Odoo developer and you need to do testing with the storefront. This will not be frequent as most time we just use the GraphQL testing interface that Odoo exposes at http://localhost:8069/graphiql/vsf.

Hope you enjoy it and if you need help on your ecommerce project just reach out to us at https://www.erpgap.com/contactus/
