Eric Swalwell to resign from Congress amid sex abuse scandal

After ending his bid for California governor over the weekend, Rep. Eric Swalwell, D-Calif., said he would resign from Congress on Monday as he faces allegations of sexual assault and misconduct. Just an hour later, Rep. Tony Gonzales, R-Texas, who is also facing sexual misconduct claims, announced his own retirement.
