In this clip, DJ Akademiks reacted to Angela Yee leaving The Breakfast Club, and he explained that he thought the announcement was “weird.” He then explained that it’s like one of the members of Migos leaving the group and expecting the group to stop, and Akademiks added that he thinks radio is dead. Akademiks added that Charlamagne Tha God has “tamed down” his edgy side as The Breakfast Club has grown, and Vlad spoke about how Angela Yee can’t do her “Lip Service” show on radio. DJ Akademiks also stated that he doesn’t think Angela Yee, or anyone, will make waves on the radio. When Vlad brought up Wendy Williams, Akademiks pointed out that she’s a GOAT who essentially got kicked off of the radio.
