In this flashback, Chuck D spoke about how LeBron has made an effort with his platform to speak about social issues, which Chuck D says sets him apart from Jordan, who he's often compared to. Chuck went on to speak about Craig Hodges being socially conscious during his time in the NBA playing on the Bulls with Jordan. Chuck went on to speak about how Detroit blew his mind when he was a kid, as he explained it was one of the first times he saw large groups of affluent Black people.
