[3] - WW2 RELIC OF THE WEEK: A German Wehrmacht Soldiers Dog Tag! (1.Kp.LDS.SCHTZ.BTL.B) #short
Today's WW2 Relic of the week is a German Wehrmacht soldiers dog tag (Erkennungsmarke) that has been broken in half. Weather or not the state of the broken tab is accidental or not I don't know - it is possibly the individual was K in an accident or due to natural causes, as there was no fighting anywhere in this area. I know that there was a mine accident in this area sometime in 1944 where several soldiers were K. The soldiers number was 777 (blood type A), and he was issued his tag in "1.Kp Landesschützen-Bataillon B" (1.Kp. LDS.SCHTZ.BTL. B).

The "WW2 Relic Of The Week" video series is comprised of short clips showcasing my relic finds from the second world war that I have found throughout the years. Most of these clips were filmed on older lower quality cameras, but thanks to modern technology I have been able to upscale and enhance the footage. In this series you will find mostly German military artifacts from WW2, but also some Norwegian and other allied items.

Welcome to the "WWII History & Reenacting" YouTube channel!
The main focus of this channel is primarily military history, mainly within the second world war (WW2) timeframe. The channel features various content, such as videos on metal detecting, magnet fishing, exploring and visiting historical sites, collecting militaria, reenactment, restoration etc. I'm a WW2 reenactor/living history enthusiast and many of my videos feature tutorials, kit reviews, reenactment footage and information about the hobby. I mainly portray the German side within the timeframe. Collecting militaria is a huge part of my life. Unboxing videos, collectible presentations, and collecting tips, as well as metal detecting and relic hunting are also typical videos on the channel.
This channel is strictly non-political and my videos are meant to be fun, educational, and informative
Enjoy!
