Trump White House Panic Over Epstein Files #shorts
Trump White House Panic Over Epstein Files
A New York Times investigation described a period of internal alarm inside Donald Trump's White House over the Epstein files. The magazine piece centered on Vance, the DOJ, and offered six takeaways from the reporting.
Former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene addressed the same subject on CNN's 'The Source With Kaitlan Collins.' She criticized Trump for working to stop the release of the Epstein Files and labeled lawmakers who refused to release them 'traitors' who 'want to cover up for pedophiles and rapists.'
According to Greene, Trump told her in a phone call that his friends would be harmed, and that this was the reason he opposed releasing the files. She added that Trump, who campaigned on draining the swamp, was the same figure who fought to keep the documents sealed.
Greene also said Trump branded her 'Marjorie Traitor Brown' because of her push to release the files. Their public falling-out over the matter took place last year and led to her resignation from Congress.
