How to make DIY Canister filter with air exhaust hole (complete tutorial)

This video is an improvement from the previous tutorial on how to create a canister filter. In the previous video it was not shown how to run the filter for the first time and there was no hole to remove the air trapped inside the filter.

Before running the filter, the tube containing all filter media must be filled first until pump is submerged in water. If not, the filter will not work and as a result the pump will be hot and damaged.

The material used is:
1. 4 Inch PVC Pipe
2. 4 inch PVC lid
3. CO (Clean Out) 4 Inch which is a lid that has a thread
4. Sealtape
5. Epoxy super strong glue (two resin and hardener blends)
6. Verlop ring 3/4 inch (outer thread) 1/2 inch (inner thread)
7. Transparent aquarium pipes
8. Aquarium pipe connections
9. Tin to connect the cut cable
10. Electrical insulation
11. Small aerator faucet (yellow)
12. Straight 1/2 inch - 16 mm plastic pipe fittings (Search in hydroponic stores)
13. Plastic elbow fittings 1/2 inch - 16 mm (Search in hydroponic stores)
14. PVC glue (pipe glue)

Media filter:
1. Coarce sponge
2. Bioball
3. Medium Sponge
4. Fine Sponge
