Why Smart Children Give Bad Interviews #InterviewSkills #LifeSkills #FutureReadyKids

The smartest child in the room isn't always the one who gets selected.
Why?

Because interviews don't just test what children know.
They test whether children can explain what they know.

Many bright students have excellent ideas, strong opinions, and unique experiences.
But when they're asked:
"Tell me about yourself."
their answers become vague, generic, and forgettable.

This isn't usually an intelligence problem.
It's an articulation problem.
And articulation is a skill that can be practiced.

👇Try this tonight: Ask your child:
"Tell me about yourself."

Give them 60 seconds. Then ask:
"What would you change about that answer?"

The second version is almost always better.

How did your child change their answer? Comment below 👇

The children who stand out in interviews, leadership roles, admissions conversations, and future careers aren't always the smartest.

They're often the ones who have learned how to express what they think.
